Depending on the type of event, our key responsibilities include:
  • Planning: we will start by meeting with you to discuss the specifics of your event for example, the date, time and location of the event and who the guests will be. We will ask you about your needs for the event and those of your guests in terms of food, drink, entertainment, accessibility and comfort.
  • Venue selection: where required to do so, we will source a suitable venue for your event. We will discuss with you the location and style of your event, the anticipated number of guests and any other particular requirements. Ideally, we will be able to offer you options in this respect.
  • Catering: where food is a central part of your event, we will source suitable caterers, obtain menus and again, offer you options within your budget. We will ask for your help in ascertaining any dietary preferences and/or allergies to ensure that everyone is catered for and cared for.
  • Marketing: some events require marketing and liaison with the media, prior to and on the day of the event. We’re happy to discuss with you what role you would like us to take in promoting your event.
  • Co-ordinating the event: you can be confident that we will be there on the day, checking that every detail is in place, to monitor the event throughout the day and ensure it runs perfectly so that you can enjoy the event. That’s what it’s all about!
  • Risk Management and Safety: we will have taken measures to ensure that the venue and the event itself is safe and that appropriate public liability insurances are in place. We will have completed a risk assessment and we will have ensured that measures are in place to deal with any emergency.
  • Post-event evaluation: applicable to larger events, we will carry out post evaluation
  • Advertising: where it is appropriate for your event, we are happy to become involved in marketing and publicity with a view to attracting visitors and, with corporate events, our marketing may even attract new clients and/or business partnerships.
